About Me
I was introduced to yoga my Senior year of High School as a gym pop-up class; I had never experienced such peace. With curiosity, I continued my yoga journey, reading on its philosophies and practicing at various studios throughout Chicago.
Through yoga and meditation, I was able to safely reflect on past traumas and recondition my old habits. I found yoga to be highly essential for my overall health. Psychologically, easing my mind, creating more harmony and increasing my confidence. Physically, boosting my energy as well as diminishing my pain crises caused by Sickle Cell.
Personally, the benefits of yoga were life changing, thriving me to expand my knowledge and to spread the word in hopes of transforming lives, teaching others alternative tools to find peace within. So, I obtained my 200-hour yoga teacher training certification at Zen Yoga Garage in Chicago. Plus, an additional 50 hours in Trauma Informed Yoga while in Portugal with School Yoga Institute. Later in 2025 I obtained an extra 300-hour teacher training, making me a 500+ RYT
I currently teach Vinyasa Yoga and Hot Yoga at studios, parks, and cooperate building throughout Chicago and Chicagoland areas. My classes include breath work, meditation, adjustments, modifications, music, hands on assistance, reiki and fun transitions. My classes are typically themed around yoga philosophies, awareness, acceptance, compassion, discipline, balancing chakras and connecting with the Self. When I'm not teaching adults, I teach kids yoga and mindfulness skills at schools, camps, parks and daycares. Kids classes involve sensory, movement, and craft activities.
Outside of teaching yoga, I am a mom who loves adventure, although I live a simple life.
-I love to learn, simplify and teach.
